  • Flights of Fancy
    Two aeroplane interiors for Air New Zealand 75 years exhibition at Te Papa. Human Dynamo Workshop co-operated in the production of this much enjoyed exhibition, by fabricating two plane interiors. First we recreated the past with a Solent Flying boat form the 1940's section. Then back to the future with a futuristic cabin and seating. Both feature in this TVONE link.

  • Motion Capture Helmets for
    Weta Digital commissioned Human Dynamo Workshop to manufacture the custom fitted helmets worn by the actors to create scenes for “ Dawn of the Planet of the Apes”. The special effects movie will be in theatre's 11 July 2014.

    The major project of supplying Auckland Museum with five life-size replica marine models adds to our large portfolio of Marine specimen model making. Four sharks, The Great White, Mako, Thresher and Bronze Whaler and a very interesting Angler Fish.

  • John Lewis Christmas Advert 2012
    Human Dynamo Workshop are proud to have crafted and wrangled the snow people stars for this commercial. We developed the snow effect on the 1.4m snowmen. And worked though the range of emotions and expressions of the model facial features. It was a pleasure and an honour to work the Director Dougal Wilson.

  • Moore Wilson's Chook Wagon
    The latest large scale fabrication to come out of the Human Dynamo Workshop is a scaled up, replica of the iconic 1947 Citroen H series truck. This Moore Wilson ‘chook wagon’ was constructed in our workshop in Miramar and has taken pride of place in their upper College St carpark. The fabrication is a great success, fooling many people who ask where it will be driven around to.
